Pima Air and Space Museum

Pima Air and Space Museum

The Pima Air & Space Museum is one of the world's largest non-government funded aerospace museums. The museum features a display of nearly 300 commercial, private, and military aircraft spread out over 80 acres on a campus totaling 127 acres.

You can see  the supersonic SR-71 spy plane.

The aircraft that carried the Hubble Telescope  is here, and the world's smallest biplane.

Stop by the Freedom One, the plane that flew home 55 Americans citizens imprisoned during the Iran hostage crisis.
You can also visit the 390th Memorial Museum, a stand alone World War II military museum.

A large number of the museum's aircraft are displayed outside.  In addition to the display hangars, the museum has a restoration hangar.

And this has been only a sampling of the number and different types of aircraft  a visitor can view at Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson.

More coming soon 😊
