Tuscany and Pisa

Next up was a lovely bus ride through Tuscany during which we stopped at a local Tuscan farm for lunch. This also included learning about virgin olive oil and the growth of the olive trees, wine tasting and delectable local specialties.  First, scenes from the bus ride through Tuscany.

After lunch we were back in the bus and on our way to Pisa.  The Pisa Tower was immediately recognizable but there is a lot more in the Piazza dei Miracoli which contains the unique architectural blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles. 

 The Tower of Pisa appears to lean more depending on where you view it from on the ground.  This shot shows the true 'lean' of the Tower.
