Did
you know there is a Quilt Museum in Paducah Kentucky?
Well,
there is and it is awesome! I’ve always
loved quilts and quilting is a hobby I always wanted to try but never seem to
find the time. Now I’m retired, so I
have the time, but trust me when I say the space required to quilt would not be
found in an RV!! But I sure enjoyed this
museum and so did our family members who met up with us to do some site
seeing.
Although
always related to quilting the exhibits change throughout the year. The museum
allows you to shop in the quilt supplies and gift shop, they support the ‘Block
of the Month’ club where you can get a free pattern inspired and featured by
exhibits, and they have an education program with over 4000 youth participating
annually in programs such as Quilt Camp, Junior Quilters Club, a nationwide
School Block Challenge contest, and Girl Scout classes just to name a few.
These
quilts were creative, colorful, unique, inspiring works of art. I hope you enjoy the photos.
More coming soon 😊
